The National Trust for Scotland’s Kellie Castle, located 9 miles from St Andrews, provides an atmospheric and fascinating venue for drinks receptions, dinners, team-building activities and company BBQ’s/Family Fun Days.
Dating from the late 13th century and home to the Earls of Kellie in the 17th and 18th centuries, the Castle was beautifully restored by the Lorimer family in the late 19th century. Elegant interiors, magnificent artwork, Lorimer designed furnishings and ornate plaster ceilings bring the Castle’s colourful past back to life. Drinks receptions for up to 70 and dinners for up to 60 can be held in the Great Hall, while the Dining Room can seat parties of up to 20 for private dinners.
Outside, the secluded grounds and organically-cultivated walled garden are perfect for alfresco entertaining. For larger gatherings the south-facing lawn can accommodate marquees for up to 300 guests, with the Castle providing a spectacular backdrop.
